A Quirky Love Song- Outer Planet Style.

There is something I love about David Berman's lyrics. His writing is so unique and original, it appeals to my Mercury squared. Here are the lyrics from, Room Games and Diamond Rain, written by David Berman of the Silver Jews, with my astro comments in red.

I'm gonna love you for a hundred years
Through suffering and celebration, dear

Thanks Saturn, Will Jupiter be there?

'Cause only you can make my lies come true
You can make lies real

We have Neptune!

And you can make me feel
Like drinking wine in the shade all afternoon

I wanted to anyway, but now I have an excuse. (Co-dependence)

You keep finding and reminding me
That you only can be kind to me
Saturn Venus contacts.

When you got with me and started dreaming my dreams

Neptune in the 7th house

But, darling, there's a gun in the garland

Pluto in aspect to Mars and/or Venus?

And you need to know
That the dream is not all dream

Thanks again Saturn, you're a peach!

Room games and diamond rain
It's a fox hunt
It's an f stop
It's a ten acre wood

8th house, Sex, Death and Legacy,
The endowment lands?

Outbound on a western train
It costs a quarter, man
Out on the border land
I can dance real good
Real good

Outer planet contacts to Moon, Mars and Mercury.

A freight train rattles a chandelier

Because I feel the earth moving.

And if we're like plug in reindeer

Uranus conjunct Venus

Whose cords can't stretch far enough to fly
Saturn again!

We're gonna take a ride in the dirt
We're gonna die 'til it doesn't hurt
Then they can bury us side by side

Pluto, Pluto and more Pluto.

Room games and diamond rain
It's a fox hunt
It's an f stop
It's a ten acre wood

Mars in the 8th house, synastry?

Outbound on a western train
It costs a quarter, man
Out on the border land
I can dance real good
Real good

Moon, Mars and Mercury, Oh yeah!
